Notice Period and Conditions
American Home Shield has the right to cancel your Plan Agreement or stop providing coverage under your plan due to the following:
- Failure to settle the required plan price on the due date
- Failure to pay contract fees on due date
- Fraud or misinterpretation of facts of the company’s Initial Plan Agreement Term
- Expiration of the Initial Plan Agreement Term
- Breach of Plan Agreement by the owner or an authorized representative
If American Home Shield cancels the Plan Agreement, it will provide you with the notice of cancellation. In addition to this, the company will also provide the reason for the cancellation, which is at least 15 days before the stated effective date. The notice of cancellation will be sent via email, if you don’t have an email on file, the notice will be sent via regular mail.
